Our Brand Story

Biomama Skincare began with our Founder Lauren, a passionate advocate for women's empowerment and a natural skincare convert. In 2021 Lauren had three new nephews on the way, she sought to pamper her sisters with high-quality, natural skincare products that would make them feel indulged and sexy throughout their journey. However, she was met with a market dominated by fluffy, pastel products and belly oils, none of which celebrated the woman behind the bump.

Recognising the glaring gap, Lauren envisioned a brand that would honour mothers not just as caretakers, but as women deserving of luxury and sophistication. She believed in creating products that would keep the bump safe while making mothers feel seen and celebrated in their own right.  From her own pregnancy experience 8 years prior, she also understood the need for skincare that goes beyond just being safe for pregnancy, skincare optimised for pregnancy and postpartum skin was a must. 

With this vision, Lauren founded Biomama Skincare.  She meticulously developed a line of naturally-derived, effective skincare products specifically targeted at the main skin concerns experienced during motherhood. Each product is crafted in Australia with the finest ingredients and adorned in eco-friendly packaging, ensuring safety for baby and planet, and indulgence for Mama.
